It was
written for the Indo-China Refugee Association of Victoria by Morag Loh who was
Freelance oral historian, scholar, curator of photography and writer. In 1995
she won the Young Readers/Picture Book award from The Family Therapy
Associations of Australia for Grandpa and Ah Gong.
It was
the traditional folk tales from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam recorded by
interview with Indo-Chinese immigrants to Australia. It was intend to teach the
children of these immigrants something of their own cultures. There were five
languages in this book. They are in English, Combodian, Chinese, Laotian and
Vietnamese. It alos suitables for middle aged children.
